Digitalization of Energy systems
After graduating I took an interest to optimization problems related to the energy grid. Indeed the success of the energy transition depends on the succesful integration of renewable energies into the electricity grid. This calls for the overhaul of the exsiting network to make it more resilient and decentralized. Such a process relies on the digitalization of the energy grid and rises a wealth of optimization problems that are of interest to me.
This interest led me to complete in 2025 a professional certification on the Intelligent and Integrated Energy Systems from DelftX, the online learning initiative of TU Delft on edX.
Some of the energy-related projects that I worked on include:
- (May 2025) Energy Flow Optimization : The project is a succeflly completed technical task which was part of an interview process with hymate, a Munich-based start-up which offers a software for the planing and control of energy systems.
